WORDS FALL LIKE DEAD GODS
I almost punched a hole in the universe yesterday. Amazon was actively fighting me as I was trying to upload a cover to create a proof for an upcoming book. It wasn’t going well. Everything has worked out, but now I’m not sure if it’s going to allow me to order. I’ve given up on reality for the most part, and usually replace it with one of my own choosing.
Speaking of fiction…
If you haven’t snagged a copy of my novel DIRE BRANCHES it’s still available in paperback and kindle ebook. Alien Agenda Publishing did an amazing job with it and I’m really proud of the book. Receiving some great reviews, it would seem readers are happy with my contemporary tale of Baba Yaga. If you want a tale about drunk Millennials being tormented over a long weekend at a Bed & Breakfast by monsters from Slavic folklore, this book is for you.
This autumn, I’ll be releasing a short story collection entitled VIOLATION HIVE: AND OTHER STORIES. Containing ten original cosmic horror tales centering vaguely around the concept of belief, it will be self-published on Amazon in paperback and kindle formats. (Hence the proof I was screaming about above.) The cover art was done by Dimensionaut Media and all the editing/formatting was done by the brilliant Joseph Sale. More on it as the release date grows closer.
Finally, current WIP’s.
I finished a novella for Severed Press, which should be released some time next year. More creature-feature goodness, I’m hoping you shed a little tear with this one between all the times you’re leaning over to vomit. Good god, it was fun to write.
The sequel to BLEED AWAY THE SKY is at Bloodshot Books and I’ve outlined the third and final tale in the Crimsonata Trilogy. I hope to begin working on it here soon, bringing Audrey Darrow’s saga to a conclusion. It’s going to get real weird, real dark.
What am I saying? It’s already real weird, real dark.
