Discovering MY THRILL CLUB

I've never been all that interested in those "box of the month club" type things. However, my amazing girlfriend found one that's perfect for me as a Christmas gift. My Thrill Club delivers two surprise books and a DVD every month, in your choice genre of horror, thriller, or mystery. (They do a Sci-Fi one as well.) Two months in and I'm *ahem* thrilled with their selections.

Lauren A. Forry's "Abigale Hall" was fantastic and so far I'm loving "His Bloody Project" by Graeme Macrae Burnet. The other book from January was a collected tome of "Dracula," "Frankenstein," and "The Portrait Of Dorian Gray." While I've read all of those, it's nice to have a big hardback piece. I haven't started the second book from this month, but the Korean translated "The Hole" by Hye-Young Pyun looks interesting. I would have never necessarily picked up any of these books on my own, which makes it all the better. The DVD's are somewhat bargain bin titles, but I'm didn't care about them to begin with.

I'll mention each month what I receive, and post an image of what came in the box. Once again, so far I've been quite pleased.
